FILM PROJECT

A series of photographic works showing the dialog between the old and modern buildings. It explores the relationship between conservation and urbanisation along the idea of reflections. Both images co-exist with each other. Without progress, there is no conservation. Without history and identity, there is no direction. The old is unfamiliarized and diminished in the light of the new through the juxtaposition between the two within a single frame. The series is shot using a film camera to symbolise the nostalgia of our lost history and ways.
